Announcements:
- Please wear masks appropriately over your noses and mouths. This means anytime that you are up moving around or seated and cannot social distance. This is what will keep us out of quarantine! We want you to be here at school in person.
- All students interested in being on this year’s Envirothon team, please meet in Mrs. Hagebusch’s classroom during Homeroom on Wednesday, September 1st. Stop in and see her if you have any questions before then.
- Fall Homecoming Pre-Sale orders are due Wednesday. Order a fall sports-themed shirt or flannel PJ pants. If you need an order form contact Mrs. Howell or your teacher.
- Students have until Wednesday to check the dress-down day birthday calendar outside Ms. McMullin’s room.
- Any high school student grades 9-12 that has not been confirmed and wants to be…. Please see Mrs. Bolin ASAP. Thanks.
- We are excited to announce that the Gremlin Student Store and Cafe will be open every day after school. We have fully stocked the cafe with all of your favorites and lots of edible cookie dough. We even have spoons! Come say hi to Noe and Claire
- Wednesday, All STUCO Members will check-in with their 7th-hour teacher and then meet in the McGremln Gym. This is for STUCO members only.
- WANTED: Junior High Artists, you know who you are. 🙂 If you consider art as a hobby PLEASE stop by the Art Room by the end of the school day this Friday. Mrs. Nehring will be forever grateful
Recent Sports Results:
SOCCER: (2-0, 0-0)The varsity soccer team takes on the Maryville Spoofhounds in the opening round of the Barstow Tournament tomorrow night in Kansas City. The game time is 6:45pm.
VOLLEYBALL: (1-0, 0-0) The varsity volleyball Grems opened the season last night with a 4 set victory over the Marshall Owls (25-19, 25-12, 18-25,25-17). The JV (0-1, 0-0) lost 21-25 & 13-25. Both teams will play again at HOME Thursday, September 2nd vs Crestridge. The JV game begins at 5:30pm followed by varsity action.
FOOTBALL: (1-0) The boys’ next action is this coming Friday when the team travels to North Shelby High School. Kickoff is at 7pm.
GIRLS GOLF: The girls open the season today with a home match vs Cole Camp and Green Ridge. Tee time is 4pm at the Sedalia Country Club.
CROSS COUNTRY: Cross Country’s next meet is Saturday, September 18 in Clinton.
JH SOCCER: The JH Soccer season opens on September 10th at the Sacred Heart Junior High Tournament.
JH VOLLEYBALL: The JH Volleyball season opens on September 14 with a conference game at Otterville. Game time is 5pm.
JH FOOTBALL: The JH Football season opens on Monday, September 13 vs the Sweet Springs Greyhounds. The game begins at 5:30pm in Hughesville.
