Lord, make me an instrument of your peace:
where there is hatred, let me sow love; where there is injury, pardon;
where there is doubt, faith; where there is despair, hope;
where there is darkness, light; and where there is sadness, joy.
O divine Master, grant that I may not so much seek to be consoled as to console,
to be understood as to understand, to be loved as to love.
For it is in giving that we receive, it is in pardoning that we are pardoned, and it is in dying that we are born to eternal life.

Announcements:
- Please wear masks appropriately over your noses and mouths. This means anytime that you are up moving around or seated and cannot social distance. This is what will keep us out of quarantine! We want you to be here at school in person.
- All class schedule changes need to be initiated by the end of business TODAY. See Mrs. Buckley for a schedule change request form.
- Please see Mrs. Nehring if you have any art in the display cabinets that you would like.
- All students in grade 9-12 need to check the birthday calendar, outside of Ms. McMullin’s room. Please place a checkmark by the date you are assigned. If you need to reschedule, see Ms. McMullin. Please note that summer birthdays are celebrated on their 6-month date. Also, any weekend birthdays were moved to a school day.
- All students interested in being on this year’s Envirothon team, please meet in Mrs. Hagebusch’s classroom during Homeroom on Wednesday, September 1st. Stop in and see her if you have any questions before then.
- The Student Council Homecoming Committee is meeting today during lunch in Mrs. Howell’s room. Talk to Ian Viscarra, Activity Chair, for more information.
- Fall Homecoming Pre-Sale orders are due Wednesday. Order a fall sports-themed shirt or flannel PJ pants. If you need an order form contact Mrs. Howell or your teacher.
- JH/HS yearbooks have arrived. If you have not picked yours up then please see Mrs. Howell. Congratulations to the 2020-2021 yearbook staff on a phenomenal job! Thank you, Natalie, Emily, and Noe for all of your hard work.
- Any high school student grades 9-12 that has not been confirmed and wants to be…. Please see Mrs. Bolin ASAP. Thanks.
- After homeroom attendance is taken, all high school students will be meeting Fr. Joe in the commons to participate in the blessing of the minibusses.

SOCCER: This varsity soccer team plays Willard High School tonight @ the SC Shootout @ Tiger Stadium. Game time is 5:00 pm.
VOLLEYBALL: The varsity volleyball Grems open the season Monday night at home vs the Marshall Owls. JV begins at 5:30pm.
FOOTBALL: The boys travel to Braymer tonight for a 7:00pm kickoff.
