Sports Action:

High School Girls Softball: (0-1, 1-0) The ladies next game is Tuesday at home against Otterville!

 

High School Boys Baseball: (0-1, 0-1)  The boys will also take on Otterville at Centennial Park on Tuesday

 

High School Boys Golf: (0-0, 0-0)The boys will kick off their season Thursday in Marshall. Good Luck Golfers!

 

High School Track: (0-0) Yesterday……… Their next track meet will be Thursday in California

 

Junior High Track: (0-0)Yesterday……..Junior Highs next meet will be April 15th at Smith-Cotton

 

We’re proud of our JH and HS track teams who endured cold and windy weather in Versailles Tuesday.  Here are the top finishers:

 

For JH:

 

Sophia Carney placed 2nd in the 200-meter dash and 4th in the 100-meter dash.  Sophia was also part of the 4 x 100-meter relay placing 3rd with Ava Stone, Daniella Chinchilla, and Cassidy Bentch.

 

For HS:

 

Allie Finney placed 3rd in the 100-meter hurdles.

 

Kate Carney placed 2nd in the shot put and 2nd in the discus throw.

 

Shea Smith placed 3rd in the 400-meter dash.

 

Mariana Restrepo placed 2nd in the high jump, 4th in the long jump, and FIRST PLACE in the 800-meter run.

 

Reuben Smith placed 3rd in the 400-meter dash and 4th in the 100-meter dash,

 

Jackson Manning placed 4th in the mile and 4th in the 800-meter run.

 

The girls 4 x 200-meter relay (Shea Smith, Ellie Coruna, Laura Granados, Kate Carney) placed first.  The girls 4 x 100-meter relay (Mariana Restrepo, Shea Smith, Arly Ponce, Allie Finney)  placed 3rd.
