Announcements:
- The Gremlin Student Cafe is now open after school. Today’s Featured Item: Chex Mix, Gatorade, and Laffy Taffy Rope. Stop by and support your Student Council.
- On November 1st the cold weather dress code is in effect. Students will only be allowed to wear long pants but no shorts. Girls are also allowed to wear their uniform skirts.
- The Gremlin Student Store is here to help you out! Come check out all of the gently used uniform pants, shirts, and Gremlin Gear. We have various sizes of pants for students in all grades. All items are $5 each or you can buy four and get one free. That means for only $20 you can have a pair of pants for every day of the week!
- The wi-fi is back up and working!
- Any high school girl interested in swimming or diving for The Sacred Heart Swim Team, please come to a short informational meeting Tuesday, 10/27 at 7:20 AM in the commons. We will meet at the east parking lot door. Practice schedules will be available. If you can’t make the meeting and would like to swim or dive, email or see Mrs. Hegger soon for details.
- The Thanksgiving Food Drive will be collected on Tuesday, November 17. All students are encouraged to bring in their donations. Students in grades 9-12 this is your chance to get ahead in the spirit stick competition. The food drive is worth 20% of the spirit stick!
- STUCO Pink Out Committee is meeting Tuesday before school in Mrs. Starke’s Room
- STUCO Store Committee is meeting Tuesday over lunch in Mrs. Howell’s Room.
- All Sophomores need to meet in Mrs. McMullis room tomorrow morning at 7 AM.
Sports Action:
High School Volleyball: VAR (19-7-1, 9-0) JV (7-5, 6-1) begins District Tournament play tomorrow night in a 6:45 match up vs the willner of tonight’s Concordia – LaMonte game.s beginning Tuesday @ Sacred Heart.
Junior High Volleyball: (6-7-1, 5-3-1) The girls wrapped up their season by playing in the Kaysinger Conference Tournament at Green Ridge over the weekend.
High School Soccer: VAR (11-4, 4-0) The varsity next action is TBA.
Junior High Soccer: (8-3-1, 6-0) The JH soccer team plays tomorrow night in the Kaysinger Conference Tournament at Smithton.
High School Girls Golf: Won first in Class 1 State Golf! Congratulations!
High School Football: VAR (5-1, 0-0) The varsity football team’s next action is this Friday in the first round of the district tournament vs the Jasper Eagles. Game time is 7pm in Hughesville.
Junior High Football: (4-1) Congrats to the Junior High football team they ended their season with a 4-1 record.

Come, Holy Spirit, come, fill the hearts of your faithful. And kindle in us the fire of your love. Send forth your Spirit and we shall be created. And you will renew the face of the earth.
O God, who by the light of the Holy Spirit, did instruct the hearts of your faithful. Grant by that same Spirit we may be committed to what is right and always rejoice in your mercy. We ask this through Christ our Lord.
