Happy Tuesday Everyone!
Congratulations and thank you to everyone involved with this weekend’s Bazaar Wild West Auction! Special thanks to Cowboy Bob and Katelin Hladik ‘02 for rounding up a wonderful group of volunteers who gave us all a rootin-tootin good time for a very important cause. We hope to have a full event wrap up to share with you in next Tuesday’s Beat.

Last but not least, here’s a recap from last week’s Sacred Heart Golf Classic sponsored by Bryant Motors.
Sunshine and cooler temperatures welcomed 29 teams out to the Sedalia Country Club for the 9th-Annual SHS Golf Classic in support of our wonderful school. Gremlin alumni and fans traveling from as far away as Pensacola Beach, FL and Scottsdale, AZ turned up to be a part of the fun.
We remain extremely grateful to tournament organizers Charles Tippie ‘88 and Angela McMullin (husband, Matt ‘01) for their hard work and diligent efforts in bringing the tournament to a reality. Several parents, students, and faculty members pitched in as well in typical SHS Family fashion to man a variety of volunteer positions. The Sedalia Country club staff were gracious hosts, as always.

Gremlin families help us in welcoming our newest addition to Sacred Heart, the Himes family!
Adam and Jessica Himes are both excited to join our Gremlin family. Jessica (Kindle) is a Sacred Heart alumni – Class of ’06. Adam is the Operations Manager at RCL Wiring and Jessica owns Little box signs here in Sedalia. Cooper has joined our 1st grade class with Mrs. Sobaski and Kindle has joined Mrs. Tippie’s 4th-grade class.

The Booster Club is now taking memberships to have your name put on the membership board for the Winter Sports Season!
The Booster Club provides uniforms and equipment for ALL the JH/HS sports teams and your membership is VITAL to the Sacred Heart Sports Program.
Please fill out the attached form and send it into school soon! The deadline is October 27th.
APC Discount Card Incentives
The deadline for all incentives accompanying sales of APC’S discount cards is fast approaching. Your child can help their class win the Kona Ice contest incentive.
Please return all money and unsold cards to school by Monday, October 12th. A percentage of sales count towards each class’s treasury in grades 6 thru 12. This is a great way for students to earn money for their classes in order to help pay for Prom and Senior Mission Trip.

¡Felicitaciones y gracias a todos los involucrados en la Subasta del Bazar Wild West de este fin de semana! Un agradecimiento especial al vaquero Bob y a Katelin Hladik de la Generación ‘02 por reunir a un maravilloso grupo de voluntarios que nos brindaron un buen momento para una causa muy importante. Esperamos tener un resumen completo del evento para compartir con ustedes en el Beat del próximo martes.
Asegúrese de tomarse un momento para hojear las páginas de nuestro anuario 2020. La Sra. Nikki Howell y su equipo del anuario hicieron un trabajo extraordinario al capturar el espíritu de nuestro año escolar 2019-2020. ¡Si ve a este equipo asegúrese de agradecerles por su arduo trabajo y muy bien hecho!

Por último pero no menos importantes, aquí hay una reseña del Clásico de Golf del Sagrado Corazón de la semana pasada patrocinado por Bryant Motors.
El sol y las temperaturas frescas dieron la bienvenida a 29 equipos al Club Country de Sedalia para el 9no Clásico Anual de Golf de SHS en apoyo a nuestra maravillosa escuela. Los ex alumnos y aficionados Gremlin que viajaron desde lugares lejanos como Pensacola Beach, FL y Scottsdale, AZ se convirtieron en parte de la diversión.
Estamos extremadamente agradecidos con los organizadores del evento Charles Tippie generación ‘88 y Angela McMullin (esposo Matt generación ‘01) por su arduo trabajo y diligentes esfuerzos en hacer posible el torneo. Varios padres, estudiantes y personal también colaboraron al estilo típico de la Familia SHS para ocupar una variedad de puestos voluntarios. Como siempre, el personal del Club Country de Sedalia fueron amables anfitriones.

Incentivos de Tarjetas de Descuento APC
La fecha límite para todos los incentivos que acompaña la venta de tarjetas de descuento del Club de Padres Activos (APC por sus siglas en inglés) se acerca rápidamente. Su hijo puede ayudar a su grupo a ganar el incentivo del concurso Kona Ice.
Favor de regresar a la escuela todo el dinero y las tarjetas sin vender antes del lunes 12 de octubre. Un porcentaje de las ventas cuenta para la tesorería en los grados 6 al 12. Esta es una excelente manera para que los estudiantes ganen dinero para sus grupos con el fin de ayudar a pagar el Baile de Gala (Prom) y el Viaje de Misión del grado Senior.
