Announcements:

  • Any junior boy interested in being nominated for Boys State this summer needs to let Dr. Register know that you are interested by the end of the day on Thursday.
  • All School Mass this morning at 8:30 for Ash Wednesday.
  • Junior High Boys Basketball uniform turn-in will be today immediately after All School Mass in the conference room.
  • There will be a STUCO officer meeting Today during lunch in Mrs. Starke’s room.

Scholar Bowl:  The Gremlin Scholars’ next competition will be in the Kaysinger Conference tournament to be held on Friday, March 27 in Stover.

 

Robotics: Congratulations to the Sacred Heart Robotics Team on an excellent first full season of competition.  Well done Gremlins!

 

Sports Action: 

HS Girls Basketball:   Varsity Girls (14-13, 6-4) play tonight at 6pm in the SH Gym vs the Leeton Bulldogs in the semifinals of the District 98 Tournament.

 

HS Boys Basketball:  Varsity Boys (16-10, 7-3) opened district action last night with a 62-44 win over the Northwest Mustangs.  Congratulations to sophomore Coen Brown for recording his 1000 career point in the win. The boys take on the Concordia Orioles at 6pm on Thursday in the SH McGremlin Gym.

 

HS Girls Swim: Sacred Heart Swim had a wonderful inaugural season.  Well done, Mrs. Hegger and lady Gremlin swimmers!

 

JH Girls Basketball:  The Junior High Girls finished their season with a 9-6 record, 6-4 in Kaysinger Conference play.  They brought home a second-place finish in the Kaysinger Conference tournament.

 

JH Boys Basketball: The Junior High Boys “A” team had a perfect 16-0 record on the season, 10-0 in conference play.  The boys were Kaysinger Conference champions, Sacred Heart Tournament champions, and winners of the Kaysinger Conference tournament.

The “B” team boys concluded their season with a 9-1 record.
