Announcements:

  • We will be on shortened day schedule Tuesday and Wednesday of this week with early outs for Parent – Teacher conferences.  Thursday will be a regular schedule with regular dismissal time.
  • All School Mass – Wednesday @ 8:30.
  • This is the last week of warm weather dress for this fall.  Shorts season ends this Thursday.  
  • Today is a paid dress down day to benefit NCYC Trip.  Please collect dress down $ first thing. Put it in an envelope and include a list of the names of the students who are not participating.  This is a huge help in the office. Thanks!
  • All 6th grade please bring your lion’s peace poster to Mrs.Kehl’s room by tomorrow morning
  • Congratulations to Mason McMullin and Abram May for reciting all the multiplication facts 0-12 to the entire 3rd grade class last week.  Way to go Mason and Abram. We are so proud of you!
  • BOOK FAIR: Monday, October 28 –  TRICKS & TREATS (10 drawings for FREE poster w/ purchase) 8:00 am – 3:15 PM

Sports Action:

Volleyball: The Sacred Heart Varsity (16-10-3, 8-2) begins district play at 5pm Wednesday. The Gremlins will go up against the winner of Smithton vs Osceola, in the Semi-Finals. The winner of that contest will advance to the finals later that evening. 

Class 1 District 11 is being hosted by Sacred Heart. First-round games start Monday. At 5pm, 2 seed Green Ridge takes on 7 seed Lakeland. The 6pm contest pits #4 Osceola vs #5 Smithton. in the 7pm match 3 seed Lincoln plays 6 seed Otterville.

 

JH Volleyball: The JH Grems “A” team (9-8, 7-3) concluded their season by finishing 4th in the Kaysinger Conference Tournament this weekend in Green Ridge.  Good Season Ladies!  

 

Soccer:  The varsity soccer team’s (14-8, 5-0) next action is Tuesday at home vs Fatima High School.  Kickoff is at 5pm.

 

JH Soccer: The JH Grems (6-3-1) next action in on Tuesday in the semi-final round of the JH Conference Tournament.  Kickoff is at 5pm.

 

Football: The varsity football team (1-8) lost to Rich Hill by a score of 76-28 Friday night on Hughesville.  They begin playoff action Friday night vs the L8iberal Bulldogs. Kickoff is at 7pm in Liberal.
