#1 – We found out from the diocese last week that we will be canceling school on Monday, November 11. The good news is that the diocese has revamped and IMPROVED benefits package for diocesan employees!
In order to effectively communicate this significant set of changes, they are holding meetings across the diocese. All parish employees eligible for benefits are required to attend these meetings and get re-enrolled in whatever benefits packages they choose to take advantage of.
The meeting for St. Vincent de Paul employees (that’s us) is on Monday morning Nov. 11 at 8am. It will be held at St. Andrew’s School in Tipton. We will be canceling school on this date so that all employees can be available for this meeting We will not be required to make this day up in our school calendar.
#2 – We were scheduled to be out of school on Monday, March 23rd for a professional development day. That day has been moved to Friday, March 20th. Consequently, NO SCHOOL on March 20 but we will be in session on Monday, March 23.
