Sacred Heart is excited to announce the addition of Emily McLaughlin to our teaching staff for the 2026-2027 School Year.  Mrs. McLaughlin will be teaching Junior High Science. Please join us in giving her a warm Sacred Heart welcome!

Hello! My name is Emily McLaughlin, and I am so excited to be joining the Sacred Heart family. This will be my fourth year in education after previously serving in healthcare as an EMT, an experience that strengthened my compassion and love for serving others. I earned my Master’s degree in 5–9 Science Education from the University of Central Missouri and have a passion for helping students grow both academically and personally.

My husband and I were married last year, and we are joyfully expecting our first baby this September. Outside of the classroom, I enjoy gardening, playing pickleball, and sewing. As a Catholic, my favorite season of the Church year is Lent because it reminds me of the beauty of reflection, sacrifice, and preparing our hearts for the joy of Easter. I feel incredibly blessed to become part of a faith-filled school community and look forward to walking alongside students and families this year.
