When: Wednesday, October 15 from 8-12

Where: St. Vincent de Paul Parish Center, students will be dismissed by class and escorted by teachers.

What: Students grades K-5 participate in yearly Health Screening provided by MU nursing students with Instructors present, as they have provided this service in years prior. I will facilitate the program. This screening includes: dental, hearing, vision, scoliosis for 4/5 grades.* All information will be documented on a paper chart, information can be shared with parents upon request.

Why: Early, yearly preventative screenings aid in catching potential issues which need more medical attention. If follow up is recommended from the screening findings, the parent will be notified by the school nurse with next steps/recommendations.

Cost:  FREE, no other action is required by the parent for participation. If you choose to opt your child out, please send an email to mschmitz@gogremlins.com or a letter to the office with a parent signature.
