Keeping our students safe is our number one priority! 

Our hope is that by putting guidelines in place, we will keep our athletes, coaches, other teams, and all spectators safe while participating and allow for the winter sports seasons to take place.

Ensuring a successful and safe season for these student-athletes will require the efforts of our entire Sacred Heart Family.

Through our ticketing process and efforts to live stream every home game, it’s our sincere hope that every fan will be able to experience Sacred Heart Basketball.

WINTER SPORTS SPECTATOR/ATHLETE GUIDELINES FOR SACRED HEART SCHOOL

Effective: November 19, 2020

Student-Athletes

1. Participants will be required to wear a mask/gaiter or other face-covering when not directly involved or actively participating in their sport. This includes being worn on the sidelines and at all times before and after practice, while not actively participating or in transport to or from games or school events.

2. Each coach has been provided with a thermometer and is responsible for screening all student-athletes and coaches prior to actively engaging in practice or games. Per the CDC recommendations, anything that registers at 100.4 or higher is considered a temperature. If a temperature is registered as high administration will be notified and the individual will be sent home.

Spectators

1. Spectators will be required to wear masks at all times when attending events at Sacred Heart School.

2. Spectator limitations will be put in place for all winter sports including and not limited to High School, Junior High, and Elementary youth sports.

Ticketing System

1. We will operate with a maximum of 50% capacity being allowed in our facility for sporting events.

2. Each student-athlete, cheerleader, coach, and administrator working game duty will be issued 4 tickets for the season. A ticket is required to enter the event (*please note: you must still pay at the gate, the ticket is required to be able to pay and enter) the same 4 tickets will be used for the duration of the season. If tickets are lost please contact ablackburn@gogremlins.com. Currently, we will allow tickets 1-4 to be used, if things change it could be modified to a lesser number of tickets being allowed. Example: tickets numbered 1-2 may be allowed if we are required to institute a reduction of spectators.

3. Each high school student not rostered in winter sports will receive 1 ticket to be used to attend home events. Students will be required to sit in a designated student section.

4. There will be seating designation of away spectators and home spectators. There will also be roped off areas that ensure social distancing is taking place.

5. All visiting schools will receive a set number of tickets based upon the levels of competitions:

Varsity Girls Only: 50 Tickets

Varsity Boys Only: 50 Tickets

Varsity Boys/JV Boys: 75 Tickets

Varsity Girls/Boys and JV Boys: 100 Tickets

6. Cheer and pep band will be limited to attendance at home games only, they will not be permitted at any away games for the duration of the 2020-2021 winter sports season. Pep Band will have designated seating and will be issued 4 tickets to be used only at the games they are performing.

Away Games

• Notifications will be sent out weekly with restrictions for away games. Please understand that we do not have a say in the guidelines set forth by other counties or schools.

Season Passes

• Individuals who have already purchased season passes that do not have a student-athlete for the winter sports season with tickets or access to tickets will need to contact the office at 660-827-3800. We will arrange to issue you tickets as needed. Sales of season tickets are currently on hold.

WINTER SPORTS SPECTATOR/ATHLETE GUIDELINES FOR SACRED HEART SCHOOL

Student-Athletes

1. Participants will be required to wear a mask/gaiter or other face-covering when not directly involved or actively participating in their sport. This includes being worn on the sidelines and at all times before and after practice, while not actively participating.

2. Participants should have their temperature screened by a parent or guardian prior to participation in any practices or games. If a temperature registers at 100.4 or higher they should not attend.

3. Participation in Sacred School Elementary youth sports is limited to the participation of only Sacred Heart families, this includes the following:

   1. A sibling or household member of a current student that is not currently enrolled in Sacred Heart.

   2. Coop’s will be allowed between teams in the conference to be able to field a team.

Spectators

1. Spectators will be required to wear masks at all times when attending events at Sacred Heart School.

2. Spectator limitations will be put in place for elementary youth sports. Each coach and/or player will be allowed 4 spectators each. This is to be communicated to all Sacred Heart teams and schools attending games at Sacred Heart School. At this time a ticketing system will not be put in place however the rule should be followed.

*No one attending games or practices including siblings and parents/guardians of participants and participants may be outside of the reserved or event area or unsupervised at any time.

PAUTAS PARA ESPECTADORES/DEPORTISTAS DE LOS DEPORTES DE INVIERNO DE LA ESCUELA DEL SAGRADO CORAZÓN

Estudiantes Deportistas

1. Los participantes deportistas deben de usar un cubrebocas/gaiter u otra cubierta facial cuando no estén directamente involucrados o participando activamente en su deporte. Esto incluye usarlo al margen y en todo momento antes y después de la práctica, mientras no participa activamente o en el transporte hacia o desde los juegos o eventos deportivos.

2. A cada entrenador se le ha proporcionado un termómetro y es responsable de evaluar a todos los estudiantes deportistas y entrenadores antes de participar activamente en una práctica o juego. Según las recomendaciones del Centro de Control de Enfermedades (CDC por sus siglas en inglés), cualquier registro de 100.4 o más se considera una temperatura. Si se registra una temperatura como alta, la administración será notificada y la persona será enviada a casa.

Público Espectador

1. Se requerirá que los espectadores utilicen cubreboca en todo momento cuando asistan a eventos de la Escuela del Sagrado Corazón.

2. Se establecerán limitaciones para los espectadores para todos los deportes de invierno, incluidos entre otros, los deportes juveniles de High School, Junior High y Primaria.

Sistema de Venta de Boletos

1. Operaremos con un máximo de 50% de capacidad permitida en nuestras instalaciones para los eventos deportivos.

2. A cada estudiante deportista, animador, entrenador y administrador que trabaje en el juego se le entregarán 4 boletos para la temporada. Se requiere un boleto para ingresar al evento (*tenga en cuenta que: aún debe de pagar en la puerta, el boleto es necesario para poder pagar y entrar) se utilizarán los mismos 4 boletos durante la duración de la temporada. Si se pierden los boletos favor de contactar a ablackburn@gogremlins.com. Actualmente permitimos que se utilicen los boletos 1-4, si las cosas cambian, podría  modificarse para permitir un número menor de boletos. Ejemplo: Los boletos numerados 1-2 pueden ser permitidos si estamos obligados a instituir una reducción de espectadores.

3. Cada estudiante de high school que no esté inscrito en los deportes de invierno recibirá 1 boleto para poder asistir a los eventos en casa. Se requerirá que los estudiantes se sienten en una sección designada para estudiantes.

4. Habrá designación de asientos para los espectadores visitantes y los espectadores locales. También habrá áreas acordonadas que aseguren que se está propiciando el distanciamiento social.

5. Todas las escuelas visitantes recibirán una cantidad determinada de boletos según los niveles de las competencias:

Varsity Girls únicamente: 50 boletos

Varsity Boys únicamente: 50 boletos

Varsity Boys/JV Boys: 75 boletos

Varsity Girls/Boys y JV Boys: 100 boletos

6. La banda animadora y animadores se limitará únicamente a la asistencia de los juegos en casa, no se les permitirá en ningún juego fuera de casa durante la temporada de deportes de invierno 2020-202. Pases de Temporada

Las personas que ya hayan comprado pases de temporada, que no tengan un estudiante deportista para la temporada de deportes de invierno con boletos o acceso a boletos, deberán comunicarse a la oficina al 660-827-3800. Haremos los arreglos necesarios para emitir las entradas según sea necesario. Las ventas de boletos por temporada están actualmente en espera.

Transmisión en vivo de juegos en casa

Se hará todo lo posible para transmitir en vivo la mayor cantidad de juegos en casa como sea posible. Consulte nuestra página de Facebook los días de juego para obtener información sobre las opciones de transmisiones en vivo. Utilizaremos uno de los siguientes para los partidos de la temporada regular: prepcasts, youtube o facebook live.

PAUTAS PARA ESPECTADORES/DEPORTISTAS DE PRIMARIA DE DEPORTES JUVENILES DE INVIERNO PARA LA ESCUELA DEL SAGRADO CORAZÓN

Estudiantes Deportistas

1. Los participantes deportistas deben de usar un cubrebocas/gaiter u otra cubierta facial cuando no estén directamente involucrados o participando activamente en su deporte. Esto incluye usarlo al margen y en todo momento antes y después de la práctica, mientras no participa activamente.

2. Los participantes deben asegurar que un padre o tutor les tome la temperatura antes de participar en cualquier práctica o juego. Si se registra una temperatura de 100.4 o mayor, no deben asistir.

3. La participación en los deportes juveniles de la Escuela Primaria del Sagrado Corazón se limita a la participación de solo las familias del Sagrado Corazón, esto incluye lo siguiente:

   1. Hermano o miembro del hogar de un estudiante actual que no está inscrito actualmente en el Sagrado Corazón.

   2. Se permitirá a las cooperativas entre equipos en la conferencia para poder alinear un equipo.

Público Espectador

1. Se requerirá que los espectadores utilicen cubreboca en todo momento cuando asistan a eventos de la Escuela del Sagrado Corazón.

2. Se establecerán limitaciones para los espectadores en los deportes juveniles de primaria. A cada entrenador y/o jugador se le permitirá 4 espectadores cada uno. Esto se debe comunicar a todos los equipos y escuelas del Sagrado Corazón que asisten a juegos en la Escuela del Sagrado Corazón. En este momento no se implementará un sistema de venta de boletos, sin embargo, se debe de seguir la regla.

*Nadie que asista a juegos o prácticas incluídos los hermanos y padres/tutores de los participantes y participantes, puede estar fuera del área reservada o evento o sin supervisión en ningún momento.
