Greetings All,
We are a few days into our new year and I would like to share a couple of brief reminders. First of all, thank you for your patience with the afternoon pick-up line. For those of you who have been here, you will remember that the line goes a lot quicker once we get back in the daily routine. Thanks also for being respectful of the entrance to the police station along with the other streets and driveways. Having your child’s name on a paper that is visible in your windshield/window from your vehicle also helps cut down on time.
From time to time we will offer some reminders for how we can work together to navigate our current health crisis, for example…..
If your child has any of these symptoms please do NOT send your child to school:
*New cough
*difficulty breathing
*loss of taste/smell
*fever
*congestion/runny nose
*sore throat
*nausea/vomiting
*myalgia
Finally, please remember, we have gone to a 3:05 p.m. dismissal. This means that it will be between 3:10 and 3:15 p.m. before the line starts moving, so please don’t worry about getting here too early. Watch out for cars parked along Third Street, especially across from the library. Lastly, be sure to pull up to the car in front of you so that as many cars as possible may get into the line without causing serious backups. Thank you for helping us make 2020-2021 our best year yet!

Saludos a todos,
Estamos a unos días de nuestro nuevo año escolar y me gustaría compartir un par de recordatorios breves. En primer lugar, gracias por su paciencia con la línea de recogida por la tarde. Para aquellos que han estado aquí, recordarán que la línea avanza mucho más rápido una vez que volvemos a la rutina diaria. Gracias también por ser respetuoso con la entrada a la estación de policía y con el resto de calles y entradas. También ayuda a reducir el tiempo de espera el tener el nombre de su hijo en un papel que sea visible desde el parabrisas/ventana de su vehículo.
De vez en cuando, ofreceremos algunos recordatorios sobre cómo podemos trabajar juntos para navegar nuestra crisis de salud actual, por ejemplo…
Si su hijo tiene alguno de los siguientes síntomas favor de NO enviarlo a la escuela:
*Tos reciente
*Dificultad para respirar
*Pérdida de olfato/gusto
*Fiebre
*Congestión/secreción nasal
*Náuseas/vómito
*Mialgia
Finalmente, recuerde que hemos movido la salida a las 3:05pm. Esto significa que entre las 3:10 y las 3:15 pm empezará a moverse la línea así que no se preocupe en llegar demasiado temprano. Tenga cuidado con los carros estacionados a lo largo de la Calle Tercera, especialmente frente a la biblioteca. Por último, asegúrese de acercarse al automóvil que está frente a usted para que puedan entrar en la línea la mayor cantidad posible de automóviles sin causar retrocesos. ¡Gracias por ayudarnos a hacer de 2020-2021 nuestro mejor año hasta ahora!
