Sacred Heart Junior High Volleyball team took the THIRD place trophy this weekend in the Kaysinger Conference Tournament held in Green Ridge.
The number 1 seeded Gremlins faced LaMonte Friday evening and beat them in 2 sets 25-10; 25-22.
They played Cole Camp Saturday morning for a chance to play in the Championship game and lost in two sets 12-25; 27-29. This was a tough loss and the first loss of the season (and in three years for the coach) but advanced the girls to the Third place trophy game against the number 2 seeded Northwest Mustangs.
The Gremlins played Northwest for third place and beat them in three sets 26-24; 21-25; 25-18.
This group of girls love to win and always play with a lot of HEART. I couldn’t be more proud of them and their parents for their excitement and support. What a great season!
