- Sacred Heart High School GIRLS SWIM MEETING Wednesday, Nov. 6th at 5:45pm @ Sedalia Middle School Pool. All parents and potential swimmers are invited to attend. Sports Action:
Volleyball: The Sacred Heart Varsity (19-11-3, 8-2) Conference Tournament Champions, District and Sectional Champions) came up just short in the quarterfinal match in the state tournament vs Calvary Lutheran of Jefferson City. the girls beat Rich Hill in the sectional game 25-20 & 25-16.
In the Quarterfinals vs Calvary Lutheran, SH lost 2 sets to 1. The Gremlins won the 1st set 25-19. In set 2 Calvary Lutheran jumped out to a 10-3. The girls fought back into 23 to 24, before losing 23-25. In set 3 the Gremlins lost 25-14.
Great Season girls! Way to go Grems!
Soccer: The varsity soccer team’s (15-8, 5-0 Conference Champions) opens play in the Class 1, District Tournament 7 on Thursday, Nov. 7. Sacred Heart will take on the Green Ridge Tigers at 6:30pm at Clover Dell Soccer Park.
JH Soccer: The JH Grems (7-3-1) played the Smithton Tigers in the championship game of the JH Conference Tournament last night in Smithton.
Football: The varsity football team (1-9) closed out their season on Friday night with a loss to the Liberal Bulldogs in Liberal, MO. Guys we are proud of you for hanging there throughout a tough season. Good job boys!
