Announcements:

  • Special thank you to all who helped with and / or participated in yesterday’s golf tournament and family fun day. It was another great day!
  • There will be a freshman class meeting Today in the commons during lunch.
  • The Sophomore class will have a class meeting, Today at lunch, in Ms. McMullin’s Room.
  • There will be a NJHS meeting after school this Thursday, October 3rd, after school in Mrs. Kilby’s room.
  • 6-12 Monday October 7th is the DEADLINE to turn in your discount cards for your class treasury and homecoming competitions.
  • We have all school mass tomorrow at 8:30.
  • Thursday is an early out with Spirit dress.

Sports Action:

Volleyball: The varsity (8-7-3, 4-0) and JV teams next action is on Wednesday at Santa Fe.  JV plays at 5:30 followed by varsity action.

 

JH Volleyball: The JH Grems “A” (4-4, 3-1) next game is Thursday at home vs Northwest.

 

Soccer:  The varsity soccer team (6-5, 2-0) lost a 2-1 decision to Pleasant Hill on Saturday at Clover Dell Park.  They travel to Kansas City this afternoon to take on KC Lutheran in a 5pm kickoff. 

 

JH Soccer: The JH Grems (2-1-1) played in tournament action over the weekend at Clover Dell Park.   Their next action is on Thursday in Cole Camp. Kickoff is at 5pm.

 

Girls Golf: The varsity girls’ next action is a home match this afternoon at the Sedalia Country Club.  Tee time is 4pm.

 

Football: The varsity football team (1-4) lost to the Orrick Bearcats by a score of 74-14.  They play at home again this Friday night vs Drexel. Kickoff is at 7pm.

 

JH Football: The JH football team (1-2) lost to Norborne last night in Hughesville by a score of 28-16.  Their next game is a home game vs Lincoln on Oct. 7, with kickoff at 6pm.
