Announcements:

  • Students in grades 7-12th! There are only 11 yearbooks available to be purchased. Buy your copy today!
  • Looking for a Senior 2020 interested in tutoring a student this summer for A+ hours.  If interested, please contact Mrs. Williams.
  • Seniors, please meet in Mrs. Hagebusch’s room today for homeroom. We will be taking a photo. Check in with your homeroom teacher first
  • Bandits Swim Team starts May 6th, at Sedalia Middle School Pool.  Swimmers 10 and under practice from 5:30 to 6:15, 11 and up practice from 6:15 to 7:00.  If you plan on swimming on the girls high school team next year, please plan workouts with the Bandits or another team.  See Mrs. Hegger with questions or for more details.
  • K-8 baseball/softball is starting soon!  High school students: If you are interested in umpiring for the games please meet in Mrs. Kennon’s room homeroom on Thursday.
  • There will be a Junior class meeting during homeroom Thursday in Mrs’s Turners room
  • There will be an NJHS meeting during homeroom Thursday
  • There will be a meeting during homeroom on Thursday, April 25th for any 6th or 7th-grade boy interested in JH BB for next season.  The meeting will take place in the commons.
  • All current juniors and sophomores! Would you like to be a leader and voice for the students of Sacred Heart? If yes, then sign-up to be a Student Council officer on Mrs. Howell’s door. Elections are coming up soon!
  • Snack bar charges need to be paid please see Mrs.Howell for your balance.

 

Sports Action:

Baseball: The varsity boys (4-6, 2-4) beat the Smithton Tigers by a score of 7-6 last night in Lincoln.  The boys play for the consolation bracket trophy at 4pm on Thursday at Centennial Park.

 

Softball: The varsity girls (1-8, 0-4) next action this afternoon vs the Otterville Eagles.  Game time is 5pm @ Centennial Park.

 

Golf: The varsity boys finished 8th in a field of 19 teams yesterday in the Sacred Heart Classic at the Sedalia Country Club, shooting a team score of 388.  Their next action is Monday at SCC vs Boonville and Fayette. Tee time is 4pm.

 

Tennis: The varsity tennis team (2-3) lost to the Helias JV by a score of 5-4 yesterday in Jefferson City.  The Grems won 4 of the 6 singles matches. Their next match is Monday in Carrollton with a 4pm first serve.

 

Track: The jr high team competed today in Russellville yesterday.  The HS track team was @ Smith-Cotton. There are no results available at this time.
