Congratulations, Blaise Wilt and Joseph Henke for being selected as the Class of 2020 recipients of the American Youth Foundation “National Leadership Award.”
Nominated by school administration, the award recognizes:

- Two youth (a boy and a girl) currently in 11th grade
- Who strive to be their best and make a positive difference in their communities
- Recipients distinguished themselves through their actions and leadership potential
The recipients receive an engraved certificate, a copy of William Danforth’s motivational book “I Dare You,” and an invitation to join other young leaders at the National Leadership Conference in June.
Sacred Heart instituted this award to honor the life of Zach Parsons, son of Jason and Debbie Parsons, he was a recipient of this award and a remarkable student at Sacred Heart from his freshman year until he passed from this earth in a car accident in 2016, at the age of seventeen.
Blaise and Joesph were honored with the award following the Catholic Schools Week all-school Mass today.
