We will begin our day with a send-off and blessing at the All School Mass this Friday, February 15th. Fr. Timothy Armbruster from the Missionaries of the Precious Blood will be our presider!

Fr. Timothy has been presiding over our school retreats for the past 12 years!

Upon arrival at the St. Patrick’s Church, our 8th-grade parents will have breakfast with their child and then we will begin some reflections. We will reflect on our entire grade school career as we begin looking toward our future in high school.

We will discuss the Sacraments of Initiation, Baptism, Eucharist, and Confirmation, with some interactive participation and then break for lunch. The good food is being graciously provided by the wonderful 8th grade parents!

The afternoon session is focused on teamwork and team building with some friendly competitions here and there. Once we have expended some energy we will finish the day in the Church sharing parts of our day, reading special letters from our families, and then have our final blessing together as Father sends us forth in anticipation of the upcoming 8th grade Mission Trip this March.
