Tuition Information for the 2009-2010 School Year
Through the current budgeting process the finance committee has determined that the cost of educating one child at Sacred Heart School in 2009-2010 will be in excess of $4,000 per student. With that figure in mind tuition rates are set as follows:
2009-2010 Rates
½ day kindergarten $1,305
Grades K – 5 $1,600
Grades 6 – 8 $1,895
Grades 9 – 12 $2,025
As an incentive for enrollment first time families will be offered a 10% discount off of the first year’s tuition. Any current family sponsoring a first year family will also be offered a 10% discount off of 2009 – 2010 tuition! Non-parishioner fees do not apply to this incentive offer.
As an additional reminder: tuition obligations can be significantly reduced through participation in the SCRIP program. Ten school families have reduced their tuition by at least $100 and up to $500 so far in 2007-2008. Participation in the SCRIP program comes at NO ADDITIONAL COST to parents and families!
Families benefiting from Catholic parish tuition rates should have a stewardship card on file in the rectory office and be making an annual contribution (tithe) to the parish of $800 or more. Families will not be able to enroll for an upcoming year until all obligations have been addressed. The tithing percentages recommended by the Diocese of Jefferson City are 5% of annual household income to the local parish, 1% to the diocese and 4% to the charities of choice.
