Greetings from Harris Hall!
As in past years, our school's library, Harris Hall, strives to make available to Sacred Heart students books and videos that will increase their education and pleasure. In an attempt to increase our budget, we collect UPCs from Campbell's Soups and Best Choice products.
In the past six years, we have collected UPCs from Best Choice and converted them to $1400 cash which we have used to purchase fiction and non-fiction books for the students as well as videos that support our school curriculum. In the 2009-2010 school year, we were able to purchase a number of Science videos at the request of the Science Department, both on the elementary and secondary level.
Also in the past six years, we have redeemed 44,300 points for products from the Campbell's Labels which you have so generously saved for us. We have acquired dictionaries for the fourth grade and numerous books and videos for use in the elementary classrooms. We currently have over 35,000 labels banked at Campbell's which are waiting to be used for classroom needs.
Points are also awarded by Campbell's for our students' participation in service projects throughout the school year. So we want to say thank you to students, parents, and parishioners who have helped us with this project.
Please continue to keep collecting Campbell's UPCs and caps (as indicated in the link above) as well as Best Choice UPCs. They may be sent to school or dropped off at church. You are helping our kids in the process!!
