Minutes from 03/11/11

 

Carla Lucchesi opened the meeting with prayer.  Carla acted as Secretary and read the minutes from the last meeting.

 

Darla Spangler read the Treasurer's report.  Year-to-Date income is as follows:

 

Discount Cards  $14,000

Uniform Resale  $1092  (plus another $200 ready to deposit)

Box Tops  $715

Cell Phone  $21

 

We currently have $8300 in the checking account.

 

OLD BUSINESS: Discussed Catholic Schools Week - thanked everyone for participating & received ideas on how to improve next year.

 

NEW BUSINESS:

 

Teacher Requests:

It was discussed there may be an option to buy student desks & chairs at an inventory surplus warehouse.  APC is looking into this.

 

Long John Silver's fundraiser day is scheduled for March 25, from 11am-7pm.  APC will receive 20% off of sales.  Customers MUST have coupon voucher for purchase to qualify.  We will get the word out using the school e-mail blast, church bulletins, newspaper, radio, vinyl sign and vouchers sent home with students.

 

Pizza Hut Night is scheduled for April 28.  Pizza Hut uses the same voucher system, so the fundraiser will run the same way.

 

APC will supply napkins, cups & juice for the Spring Music Concert.  Carla will contact high school students to help serve refreshments.

 

Discount Card advertisers will need to be contacted in June.  Deadline for completion is June 30.  Stephanie Scott, Tara Weber and Jenn Simon have agreed to work on the cards.

 

2011-2012 Registration is in July.  Carla will contact members to help once final dates & times are established.

 

Carla, Darla & Stephanie have all agreed to hold their officer positions again next year.
