Today is the Feast Day of St. Athanasius
Menu for Today: Corn dog or burrito w/cheese sauce, mixed vegetables, & fruit push up. (Corn dog is choice A and burrito is choice B)
Menu for Thursday: Rib sandwich, tator tots, macaroni & cheese, and peaches.
- Juniors - if you are planning to enroll in Duel Credit classes, you must sign up and take the ACT test. You'll need to sign up before this Friday, May 4th to take the ACT test on June 9th - this will be your last opportunity to take the test before your junior year. See Mrs. Jennings for registration materials.
- Seniors - your permission slips and your guest's permission slips for Project Graduation are due by this Friday, May 4th. Please turn them in at the office.
- 6th & 7th grades - your enrollments forms for next year's classes were due Monday. If you have not turned them in yet, please do so as soon as possible. Turn them in to Mrs. Jennings or at the main office.
- NHS members - items for the animal shelter are due no later than this Friday, May 4th.
- Girls playing high school basketball need to bring your money for summer basketball to Coach Bestgen by this Friday, May 4th.
- Attention boys and girls in 6th & 7th grades and boys in grades 8-11 interested in playing soccer next school year - there will be a soccer meeting tomorrow during homeroom in the new gym.
- Attention freshmen - the Missouri Chamber of Commerce is holding a three day leadership development workshop during July in Mexico, MO called Leadership in Practice. You will learn decision-making and leadership skills that will help you become great leaders! For more information, come to the main office.
Sports Action:
- Girls Soccer - The girls were rained out at home against Fr. Tolton of Columbia last night. Next action is TBA.
- Boys Golf - The varsity boys play in the Sectional round of state play TODAY at Redfield Golf Course in Eugene, MO. Tee time is 9 AM.
- Girls Softball - The girls were rained out of their game in Lincoln last night. Their next action is tomorrow in LaMonte. Game time is 5:00 PM.
- Boys Baseball - The boys were rained out of their game in Lincoln last night. Their next action is tomorrow in LaMonte. Game time is 5:00 PM.
- Tennis - The tennis team beat Fr. Tolton High School by a score of 7-2 yesterday in their final regular season match. They now advance to district tennis action on Monday in Marshall.
