Today is the Feast Day of St. Peter Damian
Menu for Today: Baked chicken, corn, cheesy potatoes, and peaches.
Menu for Wednesday: Baked potato, broccoli with cheese, tossed salad, and bread.
- Tomorrow is Ash Wednesday. Please be attentive to Lenten regulations regarding Fasting and Abstinence. All School Mass begins at 8:30.
- Seniors are out this week on Project Discovery. Parking in the west lot is on a first come, first served basis all week.
- Attention pre-school thru 6th grade teachers - please encourage your students to get their yearbook order forms in to you as soon as possible. If you need more forms, just send a student up to Mrs. Walker's room #221. When you have collected the envelopes, please send them to the main office. Mrs. Meyer has a special envelope for them and she will then direct them to Mrs. Walker. If you have any questions, let Mrs. Walker know.
Sports Action:
- Girls Basketball - The varsity girls (18-5, 8-0) were victorious over Kingsville on Thursday and Warsaw here at the SH gym last night. The girls will try to win the Kaysinger Conference title outright when the Stover Bulldogs come to town TOMORROW night. JV tips off at 6 followed by the varsity match up.
- Boys Basketball - The varsity boys (22-1, 8-0) earned their 4th consecutive Kaysinger Conference regular season title Saturday evening by beating Stover 79-46 in Stover. They travel to Warsaw in a non-conference tilt tonight. The JV tips off at 6:00 PM followed immediately by the varsity boy's game.
- JH Girls Basketball "A" - The JH girls "A" team closed out their 2012 season by taking the consolation trophy in the Kaysinger Conference Junior High Tournament on Saturday. The Lady Grems beat the Smithton Tigers by a score of 29-19. Good job girls!
- JH Boys Basketball "A" - The JH boys "A" team capped off a perfect 14-0 season by beating LaMonte in the championship game of the Kaysinger Conference Tournament on Saturday night in LaMonte. Great season guys!
