Today is the Feast Day of St. Paul Miki and Companions
Menu for Today: Pepperoni pizza, tossed salad, corn, and fruit bar.
Menu for Tuesday: Chicken noodle casserole, mashed potatoes & gravy, and peaches.
- 3rd quarter mid-quarter is this Wednesday, Feb. 8th.
- Seniors - please RETURN your Senior Brag Sheet right away to Mrs. Walker or Shelby Simmons. They are needed for the yearbook information beside your senior pictures. Please seniors fill them out and return them right away. Tomorrow is the last day they will be accepted!
- Juniors and sophomores - there will be a Youth Leadership presentation this Thursday, Feb. 9th during homeroom in the new gym.
- Seniors - please take time to contact potential Project Discovery job site supervisors. The student application form is due Feb 13th and the guardian/parent & supervisor approval form is due Feb 16th. Time rushes by, make the time now to make the arrangements for a fabulous Project Discovery.
- The varsity boys' basketball team is looking for a manager to film our games as we have lost three during the year. If you can commit to do this for the team, please see Coach Goodwin.
Sports Action:
- Girls Basketball - The varsity girls (14-4, 7-0) opened Kaysinger Conference Tournament play on Saturday with a convincing win over the Tipton Cardinals. Their next action is Tuesday night in the semi-finals of the winner's bracket where they will meet the Stover Lady Bulldogs. The game starts at 4:30 PM at the Fred E. Davis Multipurpose Center on the campus of State Fair Community College.
- Boys Basketball - The varsity boys (18-1, 7-0) opened Kaysinger Conference Tournament play on Saturday by beating the Northwest Mustangs. Their next action is Tuesday night in the semi-finals of the winner's bracket where they will meet the Green Ridge Tigers. The game starts at 4:30 PM at the Fred E. Davis Multipurpose Center on the campus of State Fair Community College.
- JH Girls Basketball "A" - The JH girls "A" team's next action is in the Kaysinger Conference Tournament coming up the week of February 13th through the 17th.
- JH Girls Basketball "B" - The JH girls "B" teams next game is on Thursday Feb. 9 at home vs. Green Ridge. The girls tip off at 5:30 followed by the "B" boys.
- JH Boys Basketball "A" - The JH boys "A" team's next action is in the Kaysinger Conference Tournament coming up the week of February 13th through the 17th.
