Today is the Feast Day of the Presentation of the Lord
Menu for Today: BBQ rib on bun, French fries, pasta salad, and pineapple.
Menu for Friday: Hot dog, macaroni & cheese, peas, and oranges.
- This is THURSDAY of Catholic Schools Week. Please don't forget to stop by and get your car washed at the 10th and Thompson Car Wash. Remember: $1 from every automatic car wash all week long will be donated back to Sacred Heart School!
- Congratulations to all of the performers in yesterday's talent assembly. Terrific!
- Seniors - new scholarships are being posted on Option C - be sure to check often.
- Seniors - please take time to contact potential Project Discovery job site supervisors. The student application form is due Feb 13th and the guardian/parent & supervisor approval form is due Feb 17th. Time rushes by, make the time now to make the arrangements for a fabulous Project Discovery.
- Students giving blood today - please remember to bring a PHOTO ID when you come to give blood today. Also, be sure to drink plenty of water today.
- Attention grades 7-12 - Are you a Have or a Have Not? Tomorrow will be your last chance to purchase a 2012 yearbook. If you want an order form please see Mrs. Walker in room 221 and she will be happy to give you one. There is a list posted near each water fountain on the 2nd floor and in the cafeteria with the names of those who have NOT yet bought a yearbook. Remember YOU are going to be in the yearbook and you'll want your friends to sign your yearbook this fall when you return to school. STILL only $40.
Sports Action:
- Girls Basketball - The varsity girl's travel to Green Ridge tonight as they continue their march in search of the Kaysinger Conference crown. JV boys' tip-off is at 5 PM. The night's line up is JV boys, varsity girls (approximately 6:15 start), then varsity boys (approximately 7:30 tip off).
- Boys Basketball - The varsity boys' are also on the road at Green Ridge tonight as they their march toward a third straight Kaysinger Conference crown. JV boys' tip-off is at 5 PM. The night's line up is JV boys, varsity girls (approximately 6:15 start), then varsity boys (approximately 7:30 tip off).
- JH Girls Basketball "A" - The JH girls "A" team travels to Smithton tonight. The girls tip off at 5:30 followed by the "A" boys.
- JH Girls Basketball "B" - The JH girls "B" teams next game is on Thursday Feb. 9 at home vs. Green Ridge. The girls tip off at 5:30 followed by the "B" boys.
- JH Boys Basketball "A" - The JH boys "A" travels to Smithton tonight. The girls tip off at 5:30 followed by the "A" boys.
