- This is WEDNESDAY of Catholic Schools Week. Student Recognition Day! Looks like another great day to get your car washed at the 10th and Thompson Car Wash as well. Remember: $1 from every automatic car wash all week long will be donated back to Sacred Heart School! Talent Assembly at noon. Parents are encouraged to attend.
- Seniors - new scholarships are being posted on Option C - be sure to check often.
- Teachers - there is a gatekeeper sign-up sheet in the teacher's lounge for the Kaysinger Tournament starting Friday. Please sign up.
- Sophomores - if you are interested in signing up for the State Fair Community College CTC programs for next year, please get the paper work from Mrs. Jennings by today. If you do not let Mrs. Jennings know you want to take these classes there will be no slots available later.
- Seniors - please take time to contact potential Project Discovery job site supervisors. The student application form is due Feb 13th and the guardian/parent & supervisor approval form is due Feb 17th. Time rushes by, make the time now to make the arrangements for a fabulous Project Discovery.
- Students giving blood on Thursday - please remember to bring a PHOTO ID when you come to give blood on Thursday. Be sure and drink plenty of water today and tomorrow.
- Attention grades 7-12 - Are you a Have or a Have Not? This Friday, Feb. 3rd will be your last chance to purchase a 2012 yearbook. If you want an order form please see Mrs. Walker in room 221 and she will be happy to give you one. There is a list posted near each water fountain on the 2nd floor and in the cafeteria with the names of those who have NOT yet bought a yearbook. Remember YOU are going to be in the yearbook and you'll want your friends to sign your yearbook this fall when you return to school. STILL only $40.
Sports Action:
- Girls Basketball - The varsity girl's improved their overall record to 12-4; 6-0 in conference with a 48-37 win over Smithton last night. Their next action is Thursday in Green Ridge as they continue their quest of the Kaysinger Conference crown. JV girls' tip-off is at 5 PM. The night's line up is JV girls (2 qtrs.), JV boys (2 qtrs.), varsity girls, varsity boys.
- Boys Basketball - The varsity boys improved their overall record to 16-1; 6-0 in conference with a victory over Smithton last night. Next action is Thursday in Green Ridge as they, too, continue their quest of the Kaysinger Conference crown. The night's line up of games is JV girls (2 qtrs.), JV boys (2 qtrs.), varsity girls, varsity boys.
