Today is Ash Wednesday
Menu for Today: Baked potato, broccoli with cheese, tossed salad, and bread.
Menu for Thursday: Biscuits and gravy, sausage, hash brown and cinnamon apples.
- Today is Ash Wednesday. Please be attentive to Lenten regulations regarding Fasting and Abstinence. All School Mass begins at 8:30.
- Please welcome Fr. Joe Corel, diocesan vocations director as he visits our school today.
- Seniors are out this week on Project Discovery. Parking in the west lot is on a first come, first served basis all week.
- Attention pre-school thru 6th grade teachers - please encourage your students to get their yearbook order forms in to you as soon as possible. If you need more forms, just send a student up to Mrs. Walker's room #221. When you have collected the envelopes, please send them to the main office. Mrs. Meyer has a special envelope for them and she will then direct them to Mrs. Walker. If you have any questions, let Mrs. Walker know.
Sports Action:
- Girls Basketball - The varsity girls (18-5, 8-0) will try to win the Kaysinger Conference title outright TONIGHT when the Stover Bulldogs come to town. JV tips off at 6 followed by the varsity match up. Please come out and cheer the girls on tonight!
- Boys Basketball - The varsity boys (23-1, 9-0) beat Warsaw in a non-conference tilt last night in Warsaw. The JV lost their game and wrapped up their season with an 11 win 7 loss season. The varsity's concludes regular season play on Thursday at Senior - Parent Night when St. Pauls' Lutheran of Concordia comes calling. Girls at 6, Senior - Parent recognition between games and with the boys game to wrap up the evening's festivities.
- JH Girls Basketball "A" - The JH girls "A" team closed out their 2012 season by taking the consolation trophy in the Kaysinger Conference Junior High Tournament on Saturday. The Lady Grems beat the Smithton Tigers by a score of 29-19. Good job girls!
- JH Boys Basketball "A" - The JH boys "A" team capped off a perfect 14-0 season by beating LaMonte in the championship game of the Kaysinger Conference Tournament on Saturday night in LaMonte. Great season guys!
